Why are Cambridgeshire bridges such a hit?
Two bridges in the Cambridgeshire have topped Network Rail’s ‘most struck’ list.
Stuntney Road in Ely was identified as having been bashed by vehicles the most, with 18 incidents in the year to the end of March 2024.
Joint second to that was in Stonea, with 17 hits.
