‘Scandalous’ to close Bedford swimming pool

The proposal comes despite spending £338,000 council money on Oasis Beach Pool. The Lib Dem Leader on Bedford Borough Council, Henry Vann, says it’s waste of money, but the leader of the Conservatives, Graeme Coombes, wants to improve leisure centres across the area.
