Nature poet inspires Peterborough rewilding
A project to reclaim habitats near Peterborough has been inspired by one of Britain’s most beloved 19th century nature poets.
The John Clare Countryside Project, led by the Langdyke Countryside Trust, will connect Peterborough to Stamford through green corridors of farmland.
Emma Baugh spoke with chair of the Trust Richard Astle and volunteer Michael Horne about the work they are doing.
