Tiptree to close its Writtle tearoom
Tiptree based jam-maker Wilkin & Sons has announced it will have to close one of its Essex tea rooms later this summer. The Lordship Tea Room in Writtle near Chelmsford employs up to 20 staff, but has not been performing as well as others.
Scott Goodfellow is joint-managing director of Wilkin & Sons, has been explaining the reasons behind their decision.
