Colchester fan sells Hendrix autograph

An autograph book that includes a signature given by US guitarist and singer Jimi Hendrix in 1967 to a Colchester music fan, has been auctioned nearly 57 years later for £2000. At the time, Jimi was one of the support acts for a Walker Brothers gig, alongside Engelbert Humperdinck and Cat Stevens. The UK tour also included concerts in Chelmsford, Grays and Westcliff-on-Sea.

Sara admits that she didn't even mean to get Jimi's signature that evening.
