Wiltshire soldier's D-Day diary

Ruth Butler guides Ben Prater through the recollections of Jack Parham from Norrington; in 1944 he was a Brigadier helping to plan Operation Overlord.

He went on to become a Major General in the British Army by 1945 and VE Day. His family donated his wartime diaries, photographs and sketches to the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre archive.
