How I got a lift from Coldplay’s Chris Martin

Coldplay fan Saundra Glenn had an unexpected adventure of a lifetime at Luton’s Radio One Big Weekend.

Saundra, who has mobility issues including osteoarthritis, was resting against a fence on her way in when she got an unexpected offer from Chris Martin.

She told Luke Ashmead how it led to getting to talk to the band’s frontman in the back seat of his car – and how she learned about his special song for the town.
