Celebrating 125 years of Wicken Fen
The National Trust’s first nature reserve at Wicken Fen is marking its 125th anniversary.
The conservation charity acquired two acres of land in 1899, which has since expanded to more than 2,000 acres.
To mark the anniversary, it has begun a £1.8m project to further restore 531 acres of peat.
Dave Webster visited the site to hear about its past, present and future.
