Essex is facing a water shortage by 2050
By 2050, Essex could have a water shortage of nearly 150 million litres every day. The forecast by Anglian Water estimates almost half (46%) of the county's water deficit might have to sourced from the sea.
Sam Kennedy is Director of Environment and Climate Action at Essex County Council and has been speaking about why Essex is facing water supply issues.
