Complaints about car finance

The Financial Conduct Authority banned discretionary commission arrangements in 2021.18,000 people have complained to the Financial Ombudsman about motor finance commission - many since January 2024. That was when, for the first time, the Ombudsman upheld two complaints. And the next day the FCA announced a review of the historical motor finance commission arrangements.
