Severn Stoke landlord on his pub's big clean-up
Meet the landlord of the Rose & Crown in Worcestershire, who went viral in Storm Henk, for sipping on a pint amidst waist high flood waters!
Andy Goodall met up with our reporter Matt Hutchinson, talking through the clean-up operation inside and outside the pub, as well as how he wants flood defences from the Environment Agency to arrive as soon as possible. A £1.8million scheme had been planned but has been delayed due to cost concerns.
In a statement, the Environment Agency's told us it "fully realises that all flooding issues are devastating for those involved". It said flood defence work in Severn Stoke has been "paused until the spring, pending agreeing an affordable price with a supplier".
