Writer and poet Benjamin Zephaniah has died aged 65, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour eight weeks ago.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Zephaniah moved to London aged 22, and lived much of his life in the east of the city.
In 2019 he spoke to BBC Radio London's Robert Elms about loving London, his complicated relationship with Britain, and being considered a national treasure.
