Sir Nicholas Winton lived in Maidenhead and was dubbed the 'British Schindler'. We hear from some of the children he saved from the Holocaust.
Sir Nicholas Winton lived in Maidenhead and was dubbed the 'British Schindler'. He saved 669 children from the Nazis in World War Two. He was knighted in 2003 and died in Berkshire in 2015 at the age of 106. The film "One Life", starring Anthony Hopkins as Winton, tells the story of Sir Nicholas' life.
We hear from some of the children he saved from the Holocaust.
