Over one long night, Deb, Billie and Josie find their own ways to process death after visiting their nan in hospital. Josie starts to wonder whether her own pathetic life might be half-lived, and Billie tries to find their dad.

Billie and Josie attempt to cope with their profound existential despair by going clubbing, where Billie befriends her rival, and Josie finally works out who she is.

Back at home, Dev’s got a bee in his bonnet about sending the girls to therapy, and Deb is on a mission to prove therapy is useless. Seb starts to panic that Josie might be kissing a girl.
