Ipswich: Dog death leaves owner traumatised
The government's confirmed it will be illegal to own an American XL bully dog in England and Wales from February, unless you have an exemption.
In July police officers were called to the Orwell Country Park near Ipswich after reports of an incident involving an XL Bully dog.
Suffolk police say they had to shoot the dog as it was out of control. Joanne Robinson, from Ipswich, was the owner of the dog, Rocco. She says she’s been left traumatised by what happened.
