‘Really the award wants to go to my wife’
Tony is no stranger in the villages around Melton Mowbray. Known as the crime-fighting milkman, he goes above and beyond to help his clients with regular deliveries and any other assistance. Oh, and sometimes he even does it dressed as a cow.
He’s been nominated for a BBC Radio Leicester Make A Difference Award, recognising people in the community who go above and beyond. We had hundreds of nominations across all the categories and now can reveal that shortlist – and hear from the finalists.
