75 years on - families remember the pain of partition
Familes from Coventry and Warwickshire have told BBC CWR of the pain of partition, as they remember 75 years on.
It's the anniversary of the break up of British India.
Violence broke out and millions were killed or fled their homes.
Bimla Devi experienced the bloodshed first hand.
Meanwhile Coventry-born teacher Ashmi Morjaria is from the Partition Education Group and says the scale of what happened needs to be recognised in schools today.
