Thousands of people are struggling to find a NHS dentist

Southend-on-Sea is one of the areas BBC researchers were unable to find any dental practices taking on new NHS patients.

The BBC talked to nearly seven thousand NHS dentists nationwide and found that only one in ten are accepting new adult patients.
