Pro-Vice Chancellor for Health and Life Sciences at Coventry University Lisa Bayliss-Pratt says overseas recruitment is something we should embrace, but it's essential to get local people working in the NHS too. BBC research shows 34% of doctors joining the health service last year came from outside the UK and EU, a rise from 18% in 2014.
