Birmingham Airport boss receives 49 per cent pay rise
The top boss at Birmingham Airport received a 49 per cent pay rise as almost half of the airport's staff were laid off during the pandemic.
The news comes as some passengers travelling from the airport still face lengthy delays due to staff shortages.
Coventry City Council is a shareholder in that airport and has a say in how much the chief executive is paid.
BBC CWR's Political Reporter, Simon Gilbert, is the man who has uncovered this story and he spoke to Phil Upton about the details.
