Have we said goodbye to Britain's girl bands?
Who was your favourite girl band growing up? Was it The Nolans, Bananarama, Atomic Kitten, The Spice Girls, the Sugababes, Mis-Teeq, Girls Aloud? Every generation had their favourites.
But, now that Little Mix have said goodbye to their fans with their final show before going on hiatus, it seems that for the first time in decades, Britain is without a major girl band. Spice Girl Mel C and music journalist and curator, Jacqueline Springer, joined Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss.
