Essex's Sam Ryder on singing at Eurovision
A couple of years ago he was posting videos of him singing - from a shed - on social media.
This weekend, Sam Ryder from Essex is representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest.
He's from Maldon and went to school in Chelmsford. He also ran a cafe in Coggeshall but he's always been in love with singing.
BBC Essex's Sonia Watson caught up with Sam in the middle of rehearsals in Italy, just a few days away from the big night.
