A special show celebrating 40 years of Roger Hill as presenter and producer.

This week The Popular Music Show celebrates its long-serving producer/presenter Roger Hill who presented his first programme on BBC Radio Merseyside on April 16th 1982. The programme is the longest-running alternative music programme on UK radio.

When it came to choosing music for such a retrospective Roger was spoiled for choice and has decided to concentrate on music which he has used in his theatre, arts, education and writing work.

Expect some surprises.
