Bedworth Civic Hall remains closed this year: council says Covid trumps concerts
Bedworth's council leader has told BBC CWR that they are saving money by keeping Bedworth's Civic Hall as a vaccination centre.
A deal has been signed to keep the site giving Covid vaccines until June, and now the council plans to keep the venue closed for the rest of the year.
A petition's been started calling for the centre to reopen as an entertainment venue, but the council say it's losing them £800,000 a year.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council leader Kris Wilson has been speaking to BBC CWR about the Civic Hall's future.
