Little Girl: The story of a song finally being released 56 years after it was written
Brian Teasdale wrote the song Little Girl for his daughter Karen when she was born. Brian has since suffered a brain injury and his daughter has been hoping to get the song re-recorded.
Sunderland College digital music students heard the plea for a new version of Little Girl on BBC Radio Newcastle and created their own version of the song using parts of Brian's original.
Little Girl by Brian and the Buttercups has been released through Durham music label Sapien Records.
