A Coventry shop owner's told BBC CWR more needs to be done to protect shop workers from abusive customers.
It's as new figures out suggest 90% of people who work in retail have been shouted at in the last year, while one in ten have been assaulted.
Paul Cheema is also on the board of the Association of Convenience Stores.
