Close pubs to open schools says top scientist

A former chief scientific adviser to the government says pubs and restaurants serving indoors should close until schools are up and running.

Sir David King told 5 Live’s Stephen Nolan the government lifted lockdown three weeks too early.

He also said “we have to anticipate a difficult winter”.
