Reading FC: Gomes delighted with player debuts

A number of players impressed Royals boss Jose Gomes during Wycombe Carabao Cup win.

After a busy end to the transfer window, Gomes used the game against Wycombe to give a number of his new signings match time.

"[It was a] good moment for [George] Puscas because he started the game and scored," Gomes told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor.

"I think [the penalty shootout] was a moment where [Rafael Cabral] conquered our fans," Gomes continued. "It was a special day for them for sure."
