Reading FC: Gomes reflects on a busy week

Royals boss Jose Gomes is pleased with the three new signings Reading have made this week.

As Gomes prepares for this weekend's trip to Hull in the Championship, he's welcoming five new players to his squad.

“We must be protected in all the positions,” Gomes told BBC Radio Berkshire’s Ady Williams. “[It’s been] a good week until now, a very good week.”

And Gomes wants to build on from the Sheffield Wednesday loss.

“[We need] to increase the level [of the players] and to avoid the mistakes that we did.”

“We needed something more to damage…the defensive line of the opponent.”
