For his 700th programme this Sunday Pete Wilson’s been to meet a very interesting man who lives in Upton St Leonards. David Cannon and David’s family have farmed Home Farm for many years.Their land spread as far as the boundary of the old Gloucester Aircraft Company airfield at Brockworth and it was there that his father witnessed the first time a Jet aircraft got off the ground. You’ll hear that tale and how David saw a Meteor crash land in one of their field.
