Al's guest this week is an Oxfordshire resident who’s kept a firm grip of her beloved Yorkshire roots through primetime BBC dramas like Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax and Gentleman Jack. She’s also written for Emmerdale, Coronation Street and created At Home with the Barithwaites, Unforgiven and Scott & Bailey… and she’s got a mantelpiece full of BAFTA’s.
