Athletics star Laura Muir opens up about finding her running talent at University, and how she balances plans to be a vet, with striving for Olympic gold.
Laura is now known for her competitive racing style, and giving it everything she’s got, but the 1500m European Champion and British record-holder had no aspirations to become a professional athlete until she started University in Glasgow.
In this series, she opens up about how her coach Andy Young helped her to realize her running potential, and how she has continually balanced her newly discovered passion with her dream to work with animals.
For now, running is her focus, and this autumn she will be striving for gold on the track again at the World Athletics Championships in Doha.
