Worcester is to lose its branch of HMV, just months after the chain announced it wasn't on the list of stores earmarked for closure.

The brand has been bought by a Canadian firm, Sunrise Records, which brought 100 stores out of administration, securing around 1,500 jobs - but signs have been placed in the windows of the Worcester branch announcing that it'll be closing.

BBC Hereford and Worcester has been told it'll shut its doors at some point next month.

Vinyl is making a big comeback with 4.2 million albums sold last year and one place making the most of the surge is Mr Tee's Rockstop in Kidderminster.

The shop has been selling records since the 1970s but sadly owner Francis 'Terry' Thomas lost his battle with cancer two years ago.

Since then, his colleague - also called Terry - has been renovating the shop in his memory.

It was a day full of live entertainment, street food and opportunities to promote the culture, history and military connections as Worcester's first-ever Polish Heritage Day took place on Saturday.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the formal establishment of Polish–British diplomatic relations and the centenary of the regaining of Polish independence.

Organisers even brought a Spitfire into Cathedral Square for the day, to champion the contribution of Polish pilots during World War II.

And there was a decent amount of live music, as we reflect in this episode.

It's the final day of the event, today, with a hundred thousand people descending on the Three Counties Showground.

Monty Don, Joe Swift and Blue Peter's Skinny Jean Gardener Lee Connelly, along with a host of other gardening experts - including our very own Reg Moule - have been there answering your green-fingered questions.

They were joined by experts from the world of cookery, with Raymond Blanc, John Torode and many more.

BBC Hereford & Worcester has been there, bringing various musicians to perform among the plants!

Tonight, we hear from Kidderminster singer/songwriter Ellisha Green and Worcester's 'pubarotti' Luke Swatman.
