Reading FC: Gomes wants focus only on Wigan

Royals manager Jose Gomes thinks there's no value in looking past his side's next game.

Gomes knows that if his side beat Wigan in the Championship, they'll move above their opponents in the table.

"Now all the focus must go to Wigan," Gomes told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "It will be the most important game.

"If we win, we'll have the same points... but we'll be in front of them.

"We just need to put our focus into the things we can control."
