Reading FC: Gomes relieved with three vital points

Royals boss Jose Gomes knows this win will help in the club's relegation battle.

The 2-1 win against Ipswich came despite Ipswich equalising in the 83rd minute.

"I'm very happy for the three points," Gomes told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "We must keep our feet on the ground...we have more tough games.

"It was a very intense emotional game, a typical Championship game.

"Nobody can think that because Ipswich are at the bottom of the table they're an easy team."
