Reforming Washington

The 116th Congress opened in Washington last week with the Democrats taking control of the gavel. They are already sending shockwaves through the White House in their stand-off with Donald Trump over the funding of his plans to build a southern border wall. But they have also moved to introduce a landmark piece of legislation to reform how American politics is funded and organised. Isabel Fraser spoke to Maryland Democratic Congressman John Sarbanes, who is leading the move.
