More than 40,000 people have signed up to a new type of gambling block with mobile-only Monzo and Starling - two of the new generation of banks set up to challenge traditional rivals. The block works by spotting any transaction a person might try to make with a betting company - either online or in a shop. It then stops that transaction from happening before any money has even left a person's current account. There are more than 400,000 problem gamblers in Britain.
