Bill examines the British cinema industry's attempt to bring out a 1940s blockbuster musical to challenge the Hollywood extravaganzas. It was a film called “London Town” and the popular view was that it was a total flop. But Bill saw it two nights running so it couldn't have been a complete turkey - or could it?! There'll also be music from Catarina Valente, Jimmy Durante, Peabo Bryson, Jimmy Ruffin, Frank Sinatra, The Bachelors and Pat Boone.
