Highlights: FakeFest, Worcester

What do Queen, The Foo Fighters, U2, Kasabian, Green Day and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have in common?
They're all fake bands that performed on Worcester Racecourse, last weekend!
FakeFest is a national festival that tours around Britain showcasing some of the best tribute bands in the country.
The organisers say: "You'll never get the new song from the new album - this is the big hits you know and love, back-to-back".

Features
- In the gig guide: Bromyard Folk & Onboard The Craft Festivals.
- In the music news: £58,000 stolen from Lakefest near Ledbury.
Highlights: Prosstock, Malvern

Prosstock started at Chris Prosser's 18th Birthday party, when he invited his friends over to his place in Malvern to listen to music played off an iPod docking station.
Last year, he decided to clean out a hay barn and invite his friends over to spend an evening listening to music played through an amp.
During that evening, Chris joked that he could invite a musician to play in 2018 - which turned into a multi-band/DJ event.
Chris says: "I am donating any profit made to the Acorns Children’s Hospice, who are a charity very close to my heart, after my brother was diagnosed with terminal cancer in November 2007.
"It’s nice to be able to give something back while doing something I love; listening to good musicians in a field!"

Highlights: Morton Stanley Festival, Redditch

It's become a fixture on the Redditch calendar and Morton Stanley Festival returned last weekend.
More than 12,000 people flock to this free two-day summer music festival, organised by the local council.
Hazel O'Connor headlined this year's event.
Some of the best talent coming out of Redditch also took to the stage.
This week, we hear from the headliner who played at Live Aid.

Highlights: The Worcester Show

Tazmin Barnes is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter, from Worcestershire, who grew up in China.
It was there where she first started singing and modelling, including for brands such as Disney, gaining TV and radio experience.
She's performed at a variety of festivals including Upton, Livestock, Worcester Music Festival, AsparaFest, BikeFest and the Big Family Festival.
She also accompanied Chinese X Factor winner Mary-Jess Leaverland on her 2016 UK Tour and has been asked to support more shows this Christmas, including a feature on Mary-Jess' new EP.
Tazmin's debut release peaked at #16 in the iTunes pop chart last March and it was a real pleasure to invite her to join us at the Worcester's Christmas Lights switch on in November.
Having just finished her GCSEs, Tazmin's been hitting the festival circuit hard and caught up with us at the Worcester Show.

BBC Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

It's been dubbed as Worcester's version of SXSW in Texas!
Taking place in multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from from some of the best, new and emerging artists in the UK.
Each year the festival raises money for a chosen local charity. This year the Worcestershire Association of Carers will receive all the money dropped into buckets at the festival's venues across the weekend.
On Sunday, 16 September, we'll be showcasing House of Wolvxs, Bryn Teeling & The River Thieves, Flex, Stone Mountain Sinners and Mitch Loveridge at Drummonds from 2pm.
