Rowing: Sinclair hoping to power eight to victory
British Rowing name a strong men’s eight boat for World Cup I, including Alan Sinclair.
The eight has been prioritised for this season, and also includes two Olympic gold medallists from Rio 2016.
“Myself and Matt [Tarrant], having won trials, are in there,” Sinclair told BBC Radio Berkshire’s Tim Dellor. “Moe [Sbihi] and Will [Satch] have an abundance of experience and success.
“It’s definitely got some horsepower in there, and some good rowers as well.”
And despite a lack of recognised names in the squad, Sinclair is confident they will provide success for British Rowing.
“It’s a very different squad, compared to when I joined in 2013.
“That differing factor isn’t a negative one, the new guys have brought a new energy to the squad.”
