Evesham's Marcel Zidani was nominated at the British Composer Awards 2015 with his track Butterflies.
He's performed extensively across Europe, as well as giving concerts, masterclasses and adjudicating music competitions - including at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Marcel's played at music festivals all over the country and is a devoted piano teacher, who's recently written a book which focuses on a new style of teaching.

John Bonham memorial

Led Zeppelin's John Bonham has been honoured with a statue in Redditch this week.
Last September, fans and campaigners put in a planning application to build a bronze memorial of him in the centre of his home town.
The statue depicts Bonham, who died in 1980 at the age of 32, sitting on a drumkit to mark what would have been his 70th birthday.

Bev Bevan interview

A Worcestershire band, that has been together since 1972, will be performing tracks from their new EP at the Artrix in Bromsgrove this Friday.
Quill, whose members have gone on to work with bands such as The Move and ELO, are also on tour in the Stand Up & Rock show with Jasper Carrott.
We caught up the band and talked about their new material, recorded at Kidderminster College, and what it's like being inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.

BBC Music Introducing in Hay-on-Wye

It's a pick 'n' mix shop that straddles the Herefordshire-Wales border and swells the population of Hay-on-Wye early each summer.
We were at the Hay Festival, once again this year, with some of our favourite handpicked musicians from Herefordshire & Worcestershire, recording four sessions for broadcast across two events.
BBC Music Introducing presenter Andrew Marston also quizzed one of Hay's most prolific hit-makers about the science behind a No.1 record.
Alan McGee was the founding father of Creation Records, responsible for signing bands such as Oasis, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine and The Libertines. Alan was also behind a club night which saw appearances from The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, Kasabian and The Darkness.
