The Austin Sessions
BBC Music Introducing takes you on a tour of Austin, Texas during South By Southwest festival 2018 with four emerging British artists: Suzi Wu, Rhys Lewis, Tayá and Goat Girl.
Austin makes a fair claim of being the live music capital of the world. At no time is this truer than during South by Southwest festival when the entirety of the downtown area becomes an enthralling melting pot of different sounds, from the tumult of street performers and buskers on every corner, to the thrum of live bands spilling out from Austin's seemingly endless array of venues.
BBC Music Introducing invited four artists to help create a musical portrait of this fascinating city, where there is evidence of the local slogan at every turn: "Keep Austin Weird". Featuring Suzi Wu, Rhys Lewis, Tayá and Goat Girl live in session.
