Edmund can be a top five player – Cash
Former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash believes Kyle Edmund can go on to compete with the world’s best players and challenge for a Grand Slam title.
The 23-year-old Briton exceeded expectations by reaching a Grand Slam semi-final for the first time in his career at this week’s Australian Open in Melbourne.
Cash, who won the Wimbledon men’s singles title in 1987, says if Edmund continues to develop his game he’ll go onto become “top 10, top five player without a doubt”.
