Hoddle: I owe a lot to Jimmy Armfield

Former England manager Glenn Hoddle says his career owes a lot to the support of Jimmy Armfield.

Armfield, who played a key role in Hoddle's appointment as England manager in 1996, has died aged 82.

And Hoddle recalls Armfield reassuring him following a disappointing World Cup qualifying defeat to Italy.
