First Aid Kit Session

Swedish sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg join us on album release day. Their "dark, break-up album" Ruins was written in LA and recorded over six weeks in Portland with producer Tucker Martine (Laura Veirs, My Morning Jacket and more).

They chat about musical catharsis, being apart for the very first time (and missing each other), as well as the joy of working with session musicians who nail a first recording, and the wisdom that comes with experience (not least, learning to say 'no').
