Geoff pays tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper, who died this day in 1959.

Classic tracks, covers and tributes and a one hour documentary telling the story of `The Winter Dance Party`. With first hand memories from Buddy`s musicians: Tommy Allsup, Waylon Jennings and Carl Bunch, plus support acts Dion DiMucci and Frankie Sardo.

Also Crickets Jerry Allison and Sonny Curtis and unique archive audio from Buddy`s mother, recorded in 1980.
