Michael Palin: Marking six decades in front of the camera
BBC Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker spoke to former Monty Python star and legendary explorer Michael Palin, as a BBC documentary marks his six decades in front of the camera.
Michael Palin:
"I've always been interested in people, and other people, and what's going on. I'm interested in being the observer really rather than being observed.
"I didn't quite know when I started on 'Around the World in Eighty Days' what we were doing, there was no script. It was clear the BBC had invested a certain amount of money in this.
"I thought how do I do this, and I up to this."
