Reading FC: "It is disappointing when you concede an early goal"

Reading boss Jaap Stam told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor he knew it would be difficult after conceding such an early goal against Ipswich in their Championship clash.

Jaap Stam, Reading F.C Manager:

"It is disappointing when you concede such an early goal like that.

"We need to look at ourselves and what we need to do better...but the referee was very bad. I think today the decisions went against us a number of times.

"Omar [Richards] made his debut against Derby but I have to look at the rest of the team as well. We decided to go with Tyler [Blackett] today, he'll get his chance."
