Other nations haven't done enough for Samoa - Dawson

World Cup winner Matt Dawson says Samoa need help from other nations to overcome their financial struggles.

Ahead of their Autumn Tests with Scotland and England, Samoan rugby has been declared "bankrupt" by their prime minister.

Dawson feels teams could have done more to support them in the past.

"There are a lot of nations that need to have a quiet word with themselves to say, 'OK we have done really well when Samoa have been in our backyard'," Dawson said.

"We have got to draw together and help our fellow rugby nations for sure," he added.
