Should we ban plastic straws?

Dental specialist Dr. Tony Kilcoyne joins Jeremy in the studio to debate the pros and cons of plastic straws following the announcement from Wetherspoon's that they will no longer use them because they take many years to decompose. Dr. Kilcoyne says that whilst from an environmental point of view it is good that something bio-degradable and more environmentally friendly is used, he argues straws are useful from a dental point of view.
